Department of Defence – off-grid hybrid solar PV, battery and diesel generator systems

Design, supply and installation of two separate off-grid systems at Beecroft Weapons Range with all associated civil, structural and electrical works.

Approach:

Some details of this project are confidential.

Working closely with the Department of Defence TEC-C is responsible for the design, supply and construction of solar photovoltaic systems at Beecroft Weapons Range on the Beecroft Peninsula.

The solution had to fit all technical and budget requirements, working in both greenfield and brownfield construction environments, including all associated civil, structural and electrical works and two years of operation and maintenance to meet demanding performance guarantees.

Additional details are confidential, only publicly available information can be shared. This project will be completed in November 2021.
