Celebrating Innovation: AusNet and Mondo Unveils PICESS, Powered by TEC-C

We are elated to share the news of our recently completed project, the Phillip Island Community Energy Storage System (PICESS), launched in collaboration with AusNet Services and Mondo. The unveiling event was presided by the Victorian Minister for Energy, Lily D’Ambrosio MP, accentuating the project’s significance in the renewable energy sector.

DevEPC™ delivery model, accelerating delivery:

In the face of some of the most formidable weather conditions Victoria has witnessed in over two decades, TEC-C’s dedicated team emerged triumphant. We not only oversaw the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) facets of the project, but we also secured the crucial Development Application (DA) approval from the Victorian Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water. Further strengthening our role, we collaborated with AusNet Services and the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) to obtain Grid Connection approval. This accomplishment was made possible through our proprietary DevEPC™ delivery model, a unique approach that streamlines the project’s multiple components for accelerated delivery. TEC-C sets itself apart in the industry as an EPC firm offering these invaluable additional services in DA and Grid Connections.

More than a Project:

PICESS is not merely a project on our portfolio; it embodies TEC-C’s relentless commitment to advancing renewable energy solutions and building a sustainable future.

Economic and Climate Impacts:

This initiative has replaced diesel generators with an eco-friendly, dependable energy storage system, setting new standards in climate action and bringing economic benefits to the community.

We look forward to more such ventures that signify our dedication to renewable energy and sustainability. Stay tuned for more updates from TEC-C!
