TEC-C Commences EPC work of the Molong Solar Farm 66/33kV, 30/36MVA Substation

EPC

Having previously largely completed the Detailed Design of the substation as part of the development process, TEC-C has established the site to commence the works for the construction of the 66/33kV, 30/36MVA Substation, that will allow the Molong Solar Farm to connect to the grid and export the renewable energy generated by the solar farm to the electricity network.

TEC-C had placed orders for long-lead items and equipment under an Early Works Agreement, with the power transformer manufactured in Wuhan, China. TEC-C staff attended in person the Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) in January 2020, only one week before the COVID-19 lockdown would commence.
