Planning “Green Light” for Phillip Island Community Energy Storage System

Development and EPC = DevEPC™

After being awarded in September 2021 the contract to deliver the Development and EPC scopes for the Phillip Island Community Energy Storage System, TEC-C continues advancing in what we have established as a unique delivery approach in Australia with our DevEPC™ model.

On the 6th of May 2022, TEC-C was notified by the Victorian Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning of the approval from the Planning Permit for the project. This resulted from working with Mondo and closely with the local community stakeholders, including Totally Renewable Phillip Island and Energy Innovation Co-operative, providing a solution aligned with community interests and values.

The local newspaper, the Phillip Island & San Remo Advertiser, published an article on this milestone achievement, where can be read here: https://www.pisra.com.au/news/battery-project-green-light
